Masters School is a formal practice designed to facilitate Masters and Apprentices working together. However it is not limited to Masters and their Apprentices. It is also an opportunity for any member interested in extra practices to come and learn with other dedicated learners. This is also a chance for Swordsman to get familiar with how apprenticeships work and potentially seek out Masters. While formal it isn't solemn. It is a fun environment that encourages experimentation and communication.
Masters School provides a space to dive into individual styles and take meaningful time to work on specific aspects of fencing. It is a learning environment that encourages helpful questions, thoughtful back and forth dialogue, and the sharing of information gained.
The Company will not teach any lessons from the Training Program during the event. The company is there to facilitating the activity but the majority of what goes on is governed by the Masters and is adapted based on the needs of the Apprentices and other learners present. If loaner gear is needed it should be obtained from the Captain before the practice.
