Melee Practice
There will be no lessons but we will have a very brief group activity at the beginning. From there we will proceed into melees designed by members for as long as the light lasts. We may even take requests!
The Parks and Rec. department wasn’t sure they could have the lights on by Friday, so we are asking everyone to bring bright battery-powered lanterns that can either hang or be stable on flat surfaces.
NO FIRE, PLEASE!
If everyone can bring light we can make it bright enough to play longer than last week. Thank you! We look forward to seeing you there!

Some of my favorite melee experiences come from more tactical battles. I enjoy participating in an army, making plans together, filling roles. and go head to head against the other team. Melees that give you opportunities to think through the battle and not just rely on luck and quick opportunities are a lot of fun in my opinion. I’d love to see more basic melees to help me hone in on what it’s like to play in an army.
