  1. I’ve been watching all sorts of movies with rapier fighting 🙂 I watched the Duelist for the first time a few weeks ago. Really good film. Don’t forget Disney’s The Three Musketeers or The Man in the Iron Mask! 🙂

  2. There were some excellent fights here that I was previously unaware of. The Great Race was a surprisingly cool fight, and quite gentlemanly. The Rob Roy fight was good, and Liam Neeson’s finisher was awesome, but I felt that it wasn’t much of a balanced fight so much as just a cool moment. Princess Bride has the best dialogue by far, and among the more realistic, while providing a cool spectacle. Obi-Wan vs. Anakin has always been a personal favorite. It’s awesome, they fight from every possible position, and it’s just cool combat. It’s between those last two for me, but I might have to go with Revenge of the Sith.

    • I could agree on all points. There is just an emotional something or other when it comes to a sword fight that makes it so impactful and Revenge of the Sith definitely has that.
