Keening: Part 1-A Sudden Storm

“Come on now, you’re supposed to be a simple spell,” growled Lorcan.

Surely, this was no accident. Chapels didn’t suddenly sprout foliage overnight; not even Woodland ones. This…was Shay’s doing.

“Sssssh!” Kane hissed. “Lorcan might hear us and then you’ll have definitely lost this little war.”

“What it sounds like is you two have gotten yourself in a prank war and you seem to be losing.” Kane smiled as he teased the mischievous goblins.

“I’m Puckleflup, patron of finders-keepers, devourer of pies, and master of this castle!”

Karinith Grier, if you leave this place without trying an adventure, I’ll never forgive you.

Her own thoughts startled her, but they were right. Home was always waiting for her, home would always be there.

But an adventure waits for no one. They were just as restless as she was.
