It’s About Time!!!

Hey Everyone! We’re just a few days away from kicking off another great year in Terrasylvae. I hope you’re excited!

To commemorate the new season, which starts this Friday (March 1st) at 5:30pm in Woodland, I’ll be sharing a short little post every day this week. These posts will have announcements, treats, and other goodies to get you ready. I’ll keep them brief so you can glance through them in just a few moments.

For your first treat, here is a little sampler of what we have planned this year! More details will be forth coming as the year progresses.

  • September: Harvest Ball & High Tea ( We can be fancy too! ☕)
  • October: Halloween Night Games & Spook-tacular (We’re in for a ghoul-ish time this year. ? )

And those are only the big Shire events! Just wait and see what else is in store for every Terrasylvan!

Winter is Ending

We’re in the homestretch, people!

If you look out your window you might not be convinced, but believe me. Winter is ending. That means we can get back to Woodland and our Terrasylvan lives! Woot! I don’t know about you, but it has felt like a loooooonnnnngg winter and I’m glad to know that it will soon be over.

I’m also excited! I enjoy the sensation of things stirring after a long winter. Within our group, I have seen things set in motion and wind up in preparation for this new year in Terrasylvae. I believe that there is going to be a lot to look forward to and many opportunities for adventure and camaraderie. Many of which you’ll hear about soon!

For those of you who don’t know, this will be Terrasylvae’s 20th year! Two decades of wild stories, tall tales, and convoluted shenanigans. There have been many vagabonds, outcasts, and misfits, who have found a place around the fire over these past twenty years and we hope to continue that for another twenty!

So let us rise up Terrasylvans! Let’s raise a glass and shout vevot for our home in the woods! Together we can make this a year to remember that will rival any Fairy Revel!

Growing Weary

The air was cold and getting colder with each passing day. Winter would soon be upon Terrasylvae and the now dull colors of Autumn would be replaced by a stark white. Things were settling in and it wouldn’t be long before these vibrant halls of nature would slumber for a time.

Empowering the Sergeants

I spent much of the last season empowering the Lieutenants, so they could play a larger role in the group. For this next season, I would like to do the same with the Sergeants.

Hiraeth Beckons: Part 1

It’s pronounced “here-eyeth” (roll the “r”) and it’s a Welsh word. To some, it implies the meaning of missing a time, an era, or a person. It is associated with the bittersweet memory of missing something or someone, while being grateful that thing existed.
