What a bunch of cool ideas, right?! The possibilities are endless and it’s as easy as just picking one of them that sounded interesting. But how is this going to help you and the group?
When I first started fencing, I thought it was vastly different from dancing. While there still are plenty of differences, I’ve noticed during my fencing journey that my dance training carries over to my fencing.
We all want to go home happy, healthy, and whole after a great night of fighting and camaraderie.
Quality is never an accident; it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction and skillful execution; it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.
Tape your tip well.
Complacency is not the result of apathy, carelessness, or a flaw in your personality; it is the way the brain functions.
Improvement doesn’t require a self destruction first. Build from where you are. You’ll reach your dreams faster than if you tear yourself down to ground zero first.
Honor is honesty, fairness and integrity in one’s beliefs and actions. It is to to be of worth.
Not everyone has a symbol to represent themselves, and that’s okay! For some, the symbol can be something you love, for others it has a deep meaning; and in the case of mine it’s both.
This week our challenge will focus on the Foundational Pillar of Safety, and it will be Mental challenge.

This year’s Winter Warrior Challenge has been shortened to just nine weeks. It will run from Friday to Friday, starting today and concluding on the first day of the fencing season.

A Tournament Experience is a unique experience because it really depends on each and every one of us. If we can come together and work towards having a tournament experience, we can all walk away with the memories of a wonderful and exciting event!
